Metal Fence Panel Installation in Emory, TX

Operation Fire Hose recently completed a commercial fence installation in Emory, TX, building a set of galvanized metal panel enclosures along the exterior wall of a red metal building. The project involved fabricating and setting steel post frames, attaching corrugated metal panels, and anchoring everything to an existing concrete slab for a clean, durable finished product.

What the Job Involved

The scope of work covered the full build-out of two separate fence panel sections positioned on either side of a service entrance. Here is a breakdown of what our crew tackled on site:

  • Post framing: Galvanized steel square tube posts were set and anchored directly into the concrete pad using anchor hardware, keeping the structure level and plumb
  • Panel fabrication and attachment: Corrugated galvanized metal panels were cut to size and fastened to the steel frames, creating solid, weatherproof enclosures
  • Alignment and leveling: A Makita power tool kit and a spirit level were used throughout the process to keep every component square and true
  • Hardware and finishing: Latch and gate stop hardware was installed on the panels to allow controlled access through the opening between sections

Why It Matters for Commercial Properties

This type of enclosure setup is common on the back sides of retail and restaurant buildings. It keeps utility areas, trash bins, and delivery equipment screened from public view while still allowing staff access. The galvanized steel construction holds up to weather, daily use, and the kind of wear that painted or wood alternatives simply cannot match over time.

The finished result here looks sharp against the building exterior, complements the existing corrugated metal perimeter fencing already in place, and ties in neatly to the structure at address 386 along the back wall.
